A Dose of Corgi: The Laser Pointer

Yesterday while we were at the pet store, I wanted to get a toy for one or more of the animals to keep them entertained. Ramses is going through her demon cat days where she can't seem to get rid of her energy fast enough, and takes it out on the little things she can get her paws on: hair ties, socks, receipts on the table, hair pins, my Sailor Moon dolls, pens, random things on Michael's shelf and pretty much anything else she can pick up and carry off. As a result, these things get found by the doggies and are immediately destroyed. Poor Sailor Venus will be limping for the rest of her days :(
We landed on a very sturdy ball for the dogs and a laser pointer intended first for the cat but I've known dogs who enjoy chasing a little red light, too. Turns out Toki just can't get enough of it, and Ramses will jump and chirp at it too. (If you've never heard a cat chirp at something they want to catch you're missing out, it's cute.) However, I think Foxy doesn't necessarily see the appeal, but doesn't want to be left out. If Toki's not playing, she's not all that interested. It's kind of funny to see her put effort into being included.
